We went to Boondocks! We drive by it whenever we travel north of I-70 (which isn't very often), so we thought we'd stop in and play for the day.

It was a really nice day in Denver. Boondocks has three great mini-golf courses.

Cameron adds some English to his putt. Look at his shadow!

Courtney shows excellent putting form as she attempts to score a quadruple bogie.

Melea was a force on the greens. She had more than one birdie on the course.

Boondocks has two separate go-cart tracks. Here you see Kendal on the Slick-Track. These cars were powered by 9 HP engines, so they went fast!

Cameron gets ready for his turn on the Slick-Track.

If you are under 5-feet tall, you still get your own car and track. While in line we watched the Jr. go-carts race and noticed the 48 car was going faster than all the rest. Courtney jumped in the Lowe's 48 car and took the pole position. She lapped the rest of the pack 3 or 4 times before the race was over.

The adult go-carts had some 2-passenger cars, so Courtney rode with Mom.

Kendal: Hey Cameron, you cut me off back there!

Cameron: I am just keeping flow with the traffic, Kendal!

Courtney's car was so fast she could pass other cars on the outside with no problems.

Here is Courtney getting some help after crashing into another driver trying to pass her.

Dad is chasing Cameron on the Slick-Track. Dad liked car #12 and Cameron always picked #10. We thought those were the two fastest cars.

Lea drove like a crazy woman.

Who is that in front?

We were at Boondocks from Noon until after 7 PM. The kids needed a break in the afternoon.

The hot day made the bumper boats a popular attraction. These boats had squirt guns attached to the top of the motors. You were guaranteed to get soaked on this ride.

Randy scoped out the boats while in line (just like he did on the go-carts), and looked for a boat that shot the water stream a little lower. Most of the boats shot the water too high. Here you see Randy dousing Cameron.

While Dad gets sprayed by another boat, Courtney lets someone else have it.

Kendal launches a stream of water towards Courtney.

Cameron tests his motorcycle skills in the arcade.

Courtney plays Deal or No Deal for tickets.

Kendal wants one of these in our basement.

The kids like to play Air Hockey.

We finished the day at Casa Bonita. We had a super Saturday despite having a rough Friday afternoon driving to Frisco and back. The kids had a ball, and we all ended up smelling like go-cart exhaust.
