MUELLER STATE PARK (June 30, 2003) |
| For our first ever camping trip as a family, we rented a trailer
from RV America. The largest towable you can rent is 19 feet (it doesn't require a
weight-distributing hitch). This is a 2003 Keystone Cabana. It had a push out
queen bed in the front, and bunkbeds in the back. It was too small for a family of
five, but we wanted to rent a trailer since that is what we were considering purchasing.
Renting a class A, B, or C mobile home would not have had the same effect.
| We cooked all our food over open fire, even breakfast! Here
you see Mom and the kiddos cooking hotdogs and roasting corn on the cob.
| Camping is all about hanging out together and taking time to relax!
| The dining room in the Cabana is a little tight for five
people...good thing the kiddos have little tushes. The queen slide out bed (for Mom
and Dad) is behind us.
| Mueller has some cool playgrounds for kids.
| Just more goofing around.
| The kids all made artwork using things they found in the campground.
They were very creative!
