MUELLER STATE PARK (June 30, 2003)

For our first ever camping trip as a family, we rented a trailer from RV America.  The largest towable you can rent is 19 feet (it doesn't require a weight-distributing hitch).  This is a 2003 Keystone Cabana.  It had a push out queen bed in the front, and bunkbeds in the back.  It was too small for a family of five, but we wanted to rent a trailer since that is what we were considering purchasing.   Renting a class A, B, or C mobile home would not have had the same effect.

We cooked all our food over open fire, even breakfast!  Here you see Mom and the kiddos cooking hotdogs and roasting corn on the cob.

Camping is all about hanging out together and taking time to relax!

The dining room in the Cabana is a little tight for five people...good thing the kiddos have little tushes.  The queen slide out bed (for Mom and Dad)  is behind us.

Mueller has some cool playgrounds for kids.

Just more goofing around.

The kids all made artwork using things they found in the campground.   They were very creative!
