COLORADO RV AND BOAT SHOW (March 1 - 4, 2007)

The Colorado RV and Boat Show is Colorado's largest travel show.  After paying for admittance, you start in the coliseum area and then move on to outdoor and even more indoor showrooms on multiple levels.

The new Outback 26 KBRS model replaces the 26 RS in 2007.  The KBRS has the same interior as the RS except the rear bedroom slide has a king bed.  The 26 KBRS is 16" longer than the 26 RS.  I resisted the urge to trade-up.

The 26 KBRS king bed.

The 26 KBRS kitchen and dinette.  The 2007's have new granite-looking counters, and the Jasmine color scheme is replaced by Fern (which is still green but the fabric pattern is different).

The interior of the smallest of all Outbacks, the 18 RS.

We ran into GenesRUs (on the right) from Outbackers.com.

Some Outback wanna-be's engineered rail-free bedroom slides.  Too bad the rest of the camper can't compete with Outbacks.

Like the PC's of the past, are campers destined to lose the bright-white fiberglass exterior in favor of colors?

Speaking of bright and white, here is a Keystone Zeppelin trailer.  It wouldn't hurt to add some additional decals.

A restored Airstream trailer was decorated with a rustic interior.

I wonder if the water pump still works.

Do you think this antique gas stove works?  There must be a code violation here somewhere.

Timeless Travel Trailers restored this old toy hauler.  No bathroom, no kitchen, no bed.

The restored little trailer could be yours for the show price of $7,499.  Hook this baby up to a Mini Cooper or a VW Beetle and you are set...if you don't mind not being able to stand up in your trailer.  I'd rather just pack a nice big tent.

Some interior designs put a couch at the end of the trailer that supports the foldaway bed at night.  Neat idea.

Despite the SOLD sticker, I have never seen anyone camping in one of these Chalet campers.

If you prefer to bypass the tent and pop-up camper stages but don't want to spend more money than you would for a large tent trailer, you are in luck.

There were some beautiful wooden boats at the show.

Cameron test-drives a $68,000 boat.  The living area below was nicer than most homes.

Here is proof that you can make a Ford look worse than it already does.  Someone (obviously very talented) succeeded in airbrushing diamond plating to the front of this thing.

Courtney!  Don't...move...
