ROBIDOUX RV PARK - SCOTTSBLUFF, NE (May 20, 2006)

Our first trip of 2006 took us to Scottsbluff, NE to visit my Grandparents.  We stayed in Gering (literally right next to Scottsbluff) at the Robidoux RV Park.

Robidoux is a park-like setting with lots of grass and clean, level sites.  Great looking bluffs grace the park to the west.

We were in site 28, and were the only campers in the park not spending the summer here.  Everyone else were obviously full-timers enjoying the warm Nebraska springtime.  We had full-hookups (which is rare for us), so we took full advantage of the Outback's shower facilities.

The kids and I brought our baseball mitts and played catch on Saturday afternoon.  The weather was perfect with bright blue skies and soft breezes.  Here you see Courtney doing her best to catch a throw.

Great Grandpa and Uncle Bill played catch as well.

Cameron had fun skating around the park.

There is Courtney with her Great Grandma B.

Don't the Great Grandmas look like happy campers?

Kendal took some time to hang out with her Great Uncle Bill.

Carly figured the best place to sit at the campsite was on Great Grandpas' lap.

We took time to visit my Grandpa.  Courtney had a lot of "6-year-old" questions.

Randy and Lea broke out the martinis on our last night.  Lea is enjoying a Mangotini while Randy's is dirty (not his mind, his martini).  We had a great first trip for 2006 and were so glad to spend some time with our Grandparents.
